Thank you very much, Rodge. I hate shopping failure; this is good for my self-esteem. Also bought the ss sport bottle twin pack. You can't beat these for carrying liquor on SCUBA excursions. Or simply storing various over-proof concoctions.
One more thing on the topic of crispy bits: Linked to that oven-smoked pulled pork recipe was another vid from ATK on broiled carnitas. Looks luscious, so I picked up all the ingredients yesterday. We're not keen on smoked flavor. But at $1.60/lb. for Boston butt, something must be done.
Glad you got it - BTW, I think you'll find the smoke flavor is very subtle, MoSup did, and she doesn't like heavy smoke either. You can always leave it out.
