The issue here is that the Black Muslim culture/community is a large subset of the Black US demographic at large, most notably in the prison population.
It's a voting block, the Muslim-Black that is, and, that is critical to the democratic electorate.
As long as there are Democrats in power, bet on Muslims being a favored demographic, not just here but world wide.
As we've seen recently, by the way.
