IRS: Cheapest Obamacare Plan Will Be
$20,000 Per Family
The most
grotesque thing about the
recent announcement of what Obamacare will cost to purchase is not that the annual national
average bronze plan(cheapest)
premium for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) is $20,000; nor is it that the annual tax penalty Americans must pay
if they fail to obey Obamacare's mandate is, in this instance, about
$2000! No, the most grotesque and frightening thing is the the
IRS made the
announcement, and is setting the fees.
The good old friendly IRS. The
agency that has the same powers to interrogate suspects, and punish
with
internment in a gulag or stalag, as did Stalin's KGB, or Hitler's SS, is
running the show. The IRS is the Death Panel. Overly
histrionic? I think not.
The pisser is, if I'm understanding this (AND WHO THE HELL KNOWS IF I AM NOT?),
that nobody can afford to, or wants to pay $20,000+ a year to buy this
monstrosity. So, the penalty money is what Obama plans to
use to pay
for the 50+ percent of residents (not necessarily citizens) who will be
added (entitled) to Obamacare rolls at no charge. And even that won't be enough money!
Despite what dreamworlders like George Will (who correctly calls this a
"time
bomb"
think, this is not going to lead to the abolition of Obamacare. Never
in history have government killed a bad idea; they just keep tinkering
with it until one day they discover
some unobtainium that shut people up, and
then call it a success (see
Social Security, Medicare, Barney Frank).
The Evil RKOF in me enjoys
the thought of forthcoming agonizing by people (useful idiots) who voted for
this government, and will now be reduced by it to government serfdom,
or, if they're lucky, hated
pig overseers. The Good Rodge weeps for all Americans.

They average dimocrat will be of no value if a complete totalitarian regime evolves. The producers will be necessary. And will the lawyers be allowed to make millions in malpractice suits? Will the unions still have their gold plated health care? Or are the fixin to discover the meaning of 'useful idiot'? I wonder these things.

Currently I administer the HC plan for my company. An Aetna family plan, the kind you would get if your kid has a condition of real concern, is $16,200 per year. We are told its all going up 30% next year, obama care or not. That is north of 20 grand a year. My insiders tell me there will be so many additional issues the price will be not your main problem if you have any serious conditions. This plan was written by the medical lobby. The government is merely poised to be the toll-taker. -Anymouse
ReplyDeleteThis went on my Facebook, giving you the credit, of course. omg, I hate the Low-Information Voter more every day.
ReplyDeleteAnd with the IRS there's no statute of limitation.

Obamacare is like getting history's most invasive and massive colonoscopy. Can't say we didn't have warning..anything Pelosi and co. thought was a good idea was bound to be the debacle from hell. What's it going to take for the Obamabots/Free Shit Army to wake up and realize that having these people in charhe of our lives is akin to being repeatedly raped by a herd of buffalo?
ReplyDeleteIf anyone is looking for a new carrier might I suggest lien processing of some sort. There will be many liens placed on many families in the coming years for not having insurance. Of course once your house is taken it will be a section 8 asset. See the end game? - Anymouse
ReplyDeleteSo, are they changing the name to the IR-SS?
