“There’s
something sick about an administration which is so pro-Islamic that it
can’t even tell the truth about the people who are trying to kill us,”
Mr. Gingrich said to applause from a crowd in a small airport hangar
here. Mr. Gingrich accused the White House of being unwilling to
discuss threats from some Muslims. And he slammed President Barack
Obama for mounting a “war” on the Catholic Church over contraception
but apologize to Afghan President Hamid Karzai over the burning of
Qurans.
“I think we can
look into the mind of a president in the speed and thoroughness with
which they have disowned their own people.”
Mr. Gingrich made headlines Monday when he said it was “not possible”
to “fix” Afghanistan and suggested its citizens should be told to,
“figure out how to live your own miserable life.”

Today is a day for introspection.

I don't believe introspection is something Americans know how to do Rodge. To examine oneself is key but to understand what you find is impossible without a Christian world view and a deep and abiding faith in God.
ReplyDeleteInteresting roll over by the way, scary even. That could be representative of something deep inside each of us. To be introspective means going down there and meeting the guy with the bomb. We 're not going to do that.
What? It's Sunday.
Well, to quote someone in a galaxy far away, "Introspection is a dish best served cold"...
ReplyDeleteCrap - got that wrong - it's 'revenge'. And that is the point I think...
BTW: I'll admit I have been out of the loop for a week or so, but where did you get the KimdT quote? Is he writing again in some secret blog somewhere? I don't really know what happened to him after he shut his blog down..
If that idea takes hold, and enough U.S. citizens finally remove their heads from their colons, Obama will find lame duck to mean feckless and despised.
ReplyDeleteWe'll know of the occurrence when the media starts asking tough questions for ratings.
Kim's comment to a recent post about drones.
