A CIA employee who
refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement barring him from discussing
the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, has been
suspended as a result and forced to hire legal counsel, according to a
top House lawmaker.
Rep. Frank Wolf (R., Va.) revealed at an event on Monday that his office was anonymously informed about the CIA employee, who is purportedly facing an internal backlash after refusing to sign a legal document barring him from publicly or privately discussing events surrounding the Benghazi attack. The revelation comes about a month after several media outlets reported that CIA employees with knowledge of the terror attack had been forced to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDA) and submit to regular polygraph tests.

It's the best move to go to the media. Even if they assassinate you, there's the slim possibility of someone important getting prosecuted for the deed.
ReplyDelete.."they feel real fear..."
ReplyDeleteSorry, but way too cynical here to even consider the possibility on genuine concern from LSM. It is purely protection of Liberalism on behalf of the media. It is purely cowardice on behalf of Republican leadership. I can no longer see it any other way.
What they should do is attach a mandate to the CR to implement Obamacare as written without any carve-outs or exemptions for Congress, no exemptions for Congress Staffers, no exemptions for Unions, no exemptions for Corporate Cronies like GE, Goldman-Sachs, and Warren Buffett. Let Obama veto that and explain why he is against implementing his own law.
ReplyDeleteJess is absolutely right. someone important will rarely, if ever, get prosecuted. But you can bet the ranch that some one way, way down on the food chain, maybe an entry-level staffer who does not know a damn thing about anything, or the parking lot attendant, will go to the slammer.

We won't hear any more from this CIA employee until his fatal car crash.
