When Democrats are in charge
Obama: 'Raising the Debt Ceiling...Does Not Increase Our Debt,'
|
scream-of-consciousness; "If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."

Makes sense, coming from the same moron that said "Shovel-ready was not as ... uh .. shovel-ready as we expected."
ReplyDeleteI was astounded when I read the article.
ReplyDeleteIsn't there some law that says the President is automatically kicked out when they lose their ability to comprehend simple logic?
If not, we sure need one. Our elected officials are too busy pissing their pants to do their job.
Of course, if that happened, Biden would move up...or not. The same law would automatically remove his eligibility for the same reason.
Obama voters belong to that group that Lincoln referred to when he said "you can fool some of the people all of the time".
ReplyDeleteTechnically he's right. Raising the debt ceiling doesn't increase the debt. It's just a credit limit.
ReplyDeleteNot cutting spending AFTER raising the debt limit... Well, that's a different problem.
Each payday, after paying all living costs with just enough money left for food, go out and buy a new car and boat and RV on credit. While you're at it, purchase the same for your neighbors who can't afford those things. This is called raising your debt ceiling but it will not increase the debt you owe. Gotta love creative math. Thanks Barry! Let's go shopping!
ReplyDeleteOf course K-nine is correct. My example merely attempts to personalize the massive gubmint spending, which everyone here already gets. oh well
ReplyDelete"Technically he's right. Raising the debt ceiling doesn't increase the debt. It's just a credit limit." Only if Democrats didn't exist. If the debt ceiling goes up they ensure the debt does too.
ReplyDeleteHating Marxists for 47 years....x
Technically, it's true, but in reality, no business could survive, while operating like the Federal Government.
ReplyDeleteObama's comment was at a speech to the Business Roundtable. He also said:
"...And we have. Thanks to the grit and resilience of the American people, thanks to some outstanding work that’s been done by many of your companies, we are in a much stronger position now than when we were then. And we’ve created now 7.5 million new jobs in the private sector. Many of your companies have added to your payrolls. And that’s made a huge difference..."
which is total bullshit. The economy sucks, spending is out of control, the current administration has no intention of stopping the payoffs to liberal voters and his condescending comment about the debt ceiling is revolting.
Facetious.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite word.
Not just for its meaning, but because all the vowels show up in order. AEIOU.
And if you post something facetiously, you get sometimes Y.
