Piece of Cake

Cataract Schmateract

Didn't feel a thi  Excruciating pain because, in a G. Gordon Liddy  moment I faced my fear and refused all pain meds.  One nurse yelled, "This is the bravest patient we've ever had."  I wanted to do the cutting myself but the surgeon said it wasn't allowed by my insurance,  Pussies,

Piece of cake. Now where's that bear I'm supposed to rape?

  2. Pain? Ha! Wait 'till you pull that tape off!

    G. Gordon Liddy was an idiot; whenever someone offers you pain meds, take 'em! (Take it from someone that gets the whibblies from needles and knives.)

  14. Good to know you don't have pain and so glad that all went well.

But must admit, of all the surgeries I've had none of them was ever painless.

  17. After being diagnosed with cataracts forming in both eyes last fall, I had the lens in both eyes replaced. Thursday, I will go back to get my new glasses. The procedure both times as completely painless and took approximately 45 minutes from the time we went into the eye clinic to when we left. It costs just under $5000.00 per eye, mostly paid for by our insurance. We had a $200.00 co-pay. It was damn sure well worth it.
