Cataract
Schmateract
Didn't feel a
thi Excruciating pain because, in a
G. Gordon Liddy moment I faced my
fear and refused all pain meds. One nurse yelled, "This is the
bravest
patient we've ever had." I wanted to do the cutting myself but
the surgeon said it wasn't allowed by my insurance, Pussies,
Piece of cake. Now where's that bear I'm supposed
to rape?
Hope You feel better Boss . Get some rest , and work on them Gin Blossoms ! P.S. Are you sure Babs Mikulski didn't give you a right hook ? LOL ; ) > SMIBSID
After being diagnosed with cataracts forming in both eyes last fall, I had the lens in both eyes replaced. Thursday, I will go back to get my new glasses. The procedure both times as completely painless and took approximately 45 minutes from the time we went into the eye clinic to when we left. It costs just under $5000.00 per eye, mostly paid for by our insurance. We had a $200.00 co-pay. It was damn sure well worth it.
Can you see me now?
ReplyDeletePain? Ha! Wait 'till you pull that tape off!
ReplyDeleteG. Gordon Liddy was an idiot; whenever someone offers you pain meds, take 'em! (Take it from someone that gets the whibblies from needles and knives.)
Thank goodness the surgery was a success, and you can see again.
ReplyDeleteYour posts will be a lot better now, right?
Hey, isn't that Major Healy from I Dream Of Jeannie?
ReplyDelete"Looking good Rodge" will have an all new meaning from this day forth. Congrat's and thank the Lord.
ReplyDeletep.s.
No meds because MoSup was holding your hand, right?
I sneer not, 'cause while the risk is small it is still there.
ReplyDelete"Hey, isn't that Major Healy..."
ReplyDeleteNo, it's frigg'n John Wayne. I thought he was dead.
Again with the no roll-over. Schidt.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, good news. You will enjoy the new eye. Are they doing both?
Sir H the Comet
When do you get the second one done? For me it was a few months.
ReplyDeleteHOPE you took home some pain pills!
ReplyDeleteI assume for that price you got the x-ray vision upgrade?
ReplyDeleteHaven't any pain whatever; having the next one done in Feb. Had a three hour stress nap this afternoon.

ReplyDeleteGood to know you don't have pain and so glad that all went well.
ReplyDeleteBut must admit, of all the surgeries I've had none of them was ever painless.
My first thought was Orson Bean.
ReplyDeleteNudge, nudge, wink, wink.
But congrats on the successful repair.
