The Chairman of the Judiciary Committee will propose
a Resolution calling for the Judiciary Committee to begin a formal
inquiry into the issue of impeachment.C
- Based on their inquiry, the Judiciary
Committee will send another Resolution to the full House stating that
impeachment is warranted and why (the Articles of
Impeachment), or that impeachment is not called for.
- The Full House (probably operating under
special floor rules set by the House Rules Committee) will debate and
vote on each Article of Impeachment.
- Should any one of the Articles of
Impeachment be approved by a simple majority vote, the President will
be "impeached." However, being impeached is sort of like being indicted
of a crime. There still has to be a trial, which is where the US Senate
comes in.
And we're waiting for? This could be
accomplished in ONE DAY.

One day? Half hour, tops!

ReplyDeleteForget it, it will never happen! There isn't enough repubics with the orbs required to do it.
They will never impeach the first black President {after Bubba}, never.
Geo
Geo is right.
ReplyDeletePlus Congress is "America's only distinctly native criminal class", all see impeachment as a very risky precedent, given that 90% of them ought also be impeached. Liars, thieves and whores, and those are the good ones.
So long as I'm quoting Twain: "...the smallest minds and the selfishest souls and the cowardliest hearts that God makes."
and
"All Congresses and Parliaments have a kindly feeling for idiots, and a compassion for them, on account of personal experience and heredity."
OT Rodger - last night, I got half way through the jigsaw puzzle, now it's gone. Am I imagining things?

OK
ReplyDeleteI put it back TG
Thanks Rodger. If it takes too much bandwidth, just delete it, but Ii thought for a moment that I was dreaming or hallucinating about it being there last night.
ReplyDeleteYannow, a senior moment.

Impeach, hell!
ReplyDeleteThen John Boehner would have nothing to do.
Since he is used to advancing the agendas of our political adversaries, he would be sullen and his life would have no meaning.
If Obama's unilaterally changing laws as he goes along isn't bad enough, now his liberal governor buddy in Wa. state has "suspended" the death penalty.
What oath do these people take?
The House represents the cops, and the Senate represents the Judge in this matter.
ReplyDeleteRight now, the "cop" is probably inclined to make the arrest, but as we all know, if you own the judge, you won't get convicted.
