I heard a story about a school board meeting, a Mexican immigrant was upset that his kids were put in an "English as a second language" curriculum, taught largely in Spanish. His 'betters' tried to 'enlighten' the man, as to how the ESL program was ideal for his kids. Classic reply "English is the language of doctors, lawyers, and accountants. Busboys, housekeepers, and gardeners speak Spanish. What do you want your children to be ?"

“Vote Sink! Guarantee jobs for your children to clean hotel rooms and do landscaping!"
