Yeah. We have a large contingency of MBs. This was around for two days and disappeared. My first thought was that birds kill defectives (don't know if that's true, but an animal kingdom reality), but this was a full grown bird? Maybe it was signed by some Japanese talent agency and shipped to Tokyo.
In your yard? Doves are frequent visitors to our feeders, but I've never seen one of those before. Nice catch!

ReplyDeleteAround my house Red-Tailed Hawks most certainly do. Defective, slow, inattentive, etc. Pretty much all lunch.
Even the cats scatter when they see a fast moving shadow cross the lawn.
If that mourning dove isan albino, how come it looks like this one?
