“It
was wall to wall people,” one attendee told CQ Roll Call, who also said
the guests enjoyed mini crab cakes and other finger foods and some
drinks from the bar. The attendee spoke on the condition of anonymity
because the event was closed to the press.

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., joined the
lawmakers, staffers and conservatives who gathered to toast Bachmann.
Scalise
was
the only member of House Republican leadership at the event, though
Speaker John A. Boehner, R-Ohio, reportedly sent a staff member on his
behalf.
Hug her for Appreciation...Yeah...appreciation. That's the ticket.

Id love to keep Her in Congress and throw the rest of them out on their respective pompous asses. Boehner is an oxygen thief and not worthy of a bucket of warm piss if he was on fire.
ReplyDeleteWhile Michelle minot be the finest mind on earth she is and was a far cry smarter and better than the rest of her colleagues. I love her approach - face it and deal with it. She has had some missteps and fauxpas but, who hasn't? It was also a nice thing to not some wizened old hag on screen. I am not happy about her leaving - truly one of the good ones.
