That's how wildlife acts when they discover handouts, whether it's bears, coyotes, or monkeys. A possum who finds the cat food will go from being a cute critter to a fat, surly guest in need of eviction in just a few weeks.
I'd prefer the monkeys.

At least the animals in the bottom photo have a CHANCE to evolve into a civilized species after another million or so years.
