Hillary Clinton held a Cinco de Mayo event with illegal immigrants in
Nevada Tuesday — "When
[Republicans] talk about legal status, that is code for second-class
status," Clinton said.
I
know this may sound trite, but only a Democrat pol would, or
could,
dare utter so contemptuous a distortion of the truth with any hope of
getting away with it. Am I right?
H-> is a lifelong career liar, so I fully expect her to outdo even the average Dem. Having a tin ear, she's not good at it, but she has no qualms about saying or doing anything that's expedient at the moment, trusting that her toadies and hagiographers in the media will cover for her. I think she believes she has the prerogatives of a queen, much like some French woman named Marie. Let them eat cookies.
