I've seen Daughter do that with her .22 pistol, only she double-taps each plate.
Unlike me, she belongs to the "Let's See How Much Lead We Can Send Downrange In The Shortest Possible Time" school of shooting. She almost shot out the barrel of my old M1 Carbine at one range session. To limit her, I made her buy her own ammo after that.
I'd hold off on calling BS on the recoil, since it's a .gif. Lot's of missing frames and all. I can't say it's real, but certainly not enough info to call fake either.
