It
doesn’t matter if “the 3 a.m. phone call” comes in the middle of the
day. Not only will the Obama administration not answer it, but they’ll
aid our enemies instead.
First came the fact that President Barack Obama refused to address the
arrest of 10 of our sailors by the Iranian military after their boats
had mechanical trouble at sea. Then came news that the Obama
administration had offered the Iranians an apology for the release of
the sailors.
Now comes the disturbing revelation, apparently delivered by Defense
Secretary Ashton Carter, that the Obama administration tipped off the
Iranians that our soldiers were lost at sea and requested their aid.
The news came from Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, during an interview on
TheBlaze’s Dana Loesch shortly after Iran’s arrest of the sailors had
come to light.
[Full j'accuse]
I would expect nothing less from a halfrican racist marxist islamist who hates America.
ReplyDeleteHorsewhip daily for a month, make him listen to Reagan speeches in between, then thrown him down a volcano.
Lt. Col. Gen. Tailgunner dick
I just wish Fox News would stop referring to these squids as "soldiers." They're SAILORS for Pete's sake. Or Swabbies. Or Anchor Clankers.
ReplyDeleteIf Fox doesn't know how to refer to seafarers properly, they should stick to "servicemember" as the generic term.
Good lord.
Amen, Dan.

ReplyDeleteDan, I couldn't agree more with your assessment of Fox News. My opinion of them goes a lot deeper and is much more vitriolic however.
I believe that Fox News supports nothing that is Conservative and is every bit as guilty of being a tool for a political ideology (R-I-N-Oism) as is their overt rivals, the "alphabet" networks, who make no bones about their Socialist/Liberal stance. But Fox News tries so very hard to deceive it's viewers to think that "they're looking out for you" - To paraphrase Slick Willy; That depends on the meaning "you" is.
You need only remember the comments about Cruz and Trump by Fox's O'Reilly, Kelly and Hannity to realize that these R-I-N-O's occasionally poke their noses out of the closet to join their more blatant brethren Slime-Stream Media sources.
For a pretty good assessment of Fox news and their hypocrisy, go to; http://www.conservapedia.com/Fox_News_Channel
Here's what FOX brings to the table:
ReplyDelete1) Fox alone covers ALL the day's news
2) Fox calls bullshit where they find it. That 99% have historically come from the Democrats is too bad for them.
3. Political analysis & opinions cross all borders.
What more do we want from newsmen? If all news services followed Fox's example, neither Clinton nor Obamzo would have been elected.
That they not be owned by sand monkeys like Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. On a particular subject, Bin Talal have forbidden coverage of muslims in Europe...for instance the burning of thousands of cars by muslims in France on every holidays, the Outlaw zones where no police
ReplyDeleteor firemen dare venture, the systematic rape of women not wearing a burqa, on the fact that this farce"je suis Charlie" and parades was actually an apology to Europe's conquering muslims...etc...
Long ago I accepted the practice of going back and forth between Fox and HLN. Discovered that when they cover the same story, they often use the same video and witness statements. Differences are usually length of coverage or selection of items.
ReplyDeleteSome issues simply get no mention on the alphabet networks because the editors feel they don't correspond to the narrative. CNN sometimes picks up items ignored by others, and Fox tends to take some coverage to extremes on items shunned by everybody else.
About the only people I completely trust on Fox are Baier and McCallum. Yes, they're conservatively biased, but they're reasonable about it. I don't really trust anyone on CNN, so I generally avoid the TV coverage, which saves me from the snark, the nonverbs, and the innunendo. I just go read the articles on line.
A year or so back, I began relying on OAN for quick news coverage. They're unabashedly conservative, but so far what their reporters give is straightforward news in a traditionally journalistic manner. The analyst and panel shows, such as Ledger, are usually pretty extreme, but for straight news, the regular broadcasts are pretty good.
Only problems with OAN are that (1) the talking heads are all rookies, and some haven't developed their "voices" yet, and (2) since most of the day is basically headline news, what you saw at 1030 is exactly what you'll see again at 1100 . . . unless, of course, some breaking events interject.
OAN is the only tv news I bother with.
ReplyDeleteI watch OAN also. It isn't on DirecTV, but I have Prism, so I get it. Have you noticed there are no commercials? Just nicely done historical perspectives and so on. I wonder how long they can stay alive.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that recently their pronunciations of foreign locations have gotten better. That's been a problem. Yesterday they did Burkina Faso correctly, so I think they are getting better coaching.
Their crawl is OK, but could be better. Commentary is good, including Ledger and Liz Wheeler, who came in after Tomi Lahren left to go to The Blaze.
Most stories are done straightforward, sometimes with a conservative edge, rarely with a liberal one, though their reporters are so young they can be talked into a leftist slant. They also don't seem to understand the animus conservatives have against the term assault weapon.
Wabano is right about FOX News' problem with the Saudi prince, and it does seem to color their coverage. I'm in OAN's camp now, FOX has too many problems.
Well, physically, China's is the same as the USA, they have four times the population and economically they are number two, quite far behind, tho...so I make sure to read Falung Gong's Epoch Times for REAL news about the oldest and biggest country on earth...
