This
is not only newsworthy, it could prove explosive. It could provide the
necessary authority to break the logjam and allow the complete truth
about Operation Fast and Furious “gunwalking” to come to light.

It’s
not unfair to speculate that could put the fear of God into some of
those who have tried their best to keep the truth buried, and would up
the stakes for involved Democrats to keep Trump from getting elected.
It would also be tremendously beneficial to his campaign, and to
rallying Americans sick of the cover-up and demanding of justice. But
only if that pledge is publicly acknowledged.
Opening up State and DOJ to see what secrets remain intentionally
hidden (like why Eric Holder testified in May 2011 that he’d only heard
about Fast and Furious a few week earlier when Obama said he knew about
things in March, and why emails to Holder’s aide show he was informed
of the Terry murder the night it happened — not to mention
Sharyl
Attkisson’s initial CBS News report was in February!)
is an action only a strong and independent executive can order.
Interested Americans have long grown weary of the stonewalling and
obfuscation, the obstruction and the contempt, none of which ever seems
to produce results beyond noise. [

Now, THEREFORE, I, Sultan Buraq The Divider, President of the United States, pursuant to the pardon power conferred upon me by Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution, have granted and by these presents do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto [insert name] for all offenses against the United States which he or she or they or zhe, [insert name], has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2007 through January 20, 2017.
ReplyDeleteEnd of our dreams of justice for these pond scum, including Himself, unless he is removed from office before he can do it, or someone finally proves he was ineligible to be President and all his signed acts are void.
I'd like to see a President Trump investigate that string of lies and run it to ground.

Presidential pardons only give protection to those who commit federal felonies. The States can charge Holder and his cronies for any crimes the govt. can't or won't. Arizona could have a lot of fun with this.
ReplyDeleteAnd Presidential pardons don't preclude a subsequent President from investigating and publishing oh, say "Fast & Furious" with no indictments.
ReplyDeleteFrom our lips to God's ear.
ReplyDeleteAnon 10:04, rickn8or - Thanks - y'all made my day!
ReplyDeleteIf nothing else, if I get your drift, they'd also be open to civil suits by damaged parties.
I'd be pleased no end to see a broke Buraq serving coffee to Trump at some whistle stop cafe.
Lt. Col. Gen. Tailgunner dick
Bill Clinton said something like that once Dick.

Post-pardon, the next president could direct the DOJ and FBI to investigate the border agent's death as a violation of his civil rights. That double-jeopardy end-run has been used many times by the Feds.
ReplyDeleteI like the state charges idea, too.
Dab Yes, you're thinking "outside the box."
ReplyDeleteAnd then there's that asset seizure thing that could be used against them. I do have to say though that kind of thinking is a bit disquieting. So many of the tools that have become SOP in a run away government are now looking quite useful to us if the shoe is on the other foot. That I am even thinking that way makes me wonder how far our republic has fallen (at least in my mind). I'd say that there are enough real and fair legal means to go after them collecting dust on the shelf that can and should be used. At least I hope so.
ReplyDeleteThe government of Mexico has said it wants to put on trial anyone who was in charge of Fast and Furious. If that's still the case when President Trump takes office, there is no pardon Obama can issue that can keep Holder (and maybe Obama himself) from extradition to Mexico.
