Singing Dixie as High Art
DIXIE DOO-DAH
The
Hastings College Choir prepared this classic setting for a 'command
performance' at the 2009 dedication of the Morrison-Reeves Science
Center on campus. Dr. Fritz Mountford, conductor. They are, of course,
racist hate filled bastids.
Although it was written (not by Stephen Foster) in the vernacular, grammatically speaking it should be "I wish I were in the land of cotton…I wish I were in Dixie"!

I wish they did "De Camptown Ladies." I checked, they don't. Oh Well.
