Patience. Fiats have a tendency fall apart all on their own. Remember, it's Germany for cars and Italy for food.
ReplyDeleteThe singular/plural thing is a matter of custom; the Brits tend to say "British Rail have announced new schedules…"

ReplyDeleteStun had it ... The eu is plural ... I actually got schooled in what seems to me proper English after watching a million hours of Top Gear, hearing.. "GEneral Motors have announced,,." Etc. I know I'm being something of a prig, but I has the write!
