Donald Trump's support

At least some are beginning to hedge their bets. The answer (not contained in the Daily Grind column) is puh-leeeeze.  The "progressive" media have, since ca. 1984, used their stranglehold on print and televised media to shape elections. They use their own  exit polling (like the infamous V.P.S.) to discourage  conservative voters.  They print rigged polling results.  They heap ridicule on anybody deemed too conservative. But this is a new ball game.

The "silent majority" that swept Reagan into office have always been there, but until now they haven't despised the nation's leadership enough to seethe.  And there's Trump's opponent, Hillary.  A poll just taken by a CBS news station in Virginia shows an astounding  82% want "Hillary Clinton criminally prosecuted."  I will not be the slightest surprised if, before her nomination, she "stars" in another of the myriad "strange deaths" that are a Clinton hallmark. Ahem.

Right now you can make book on President Trump.  What's up in the air is: will voters punish those in congress (every Dem and quite a few Republicans) that have marched in Obama's army of destruction?

The latest from Washington, District of Corruption.

The fix just arrived. Comey announced Hillary was a bad girl, was "extremely careless" and sad she wont' do it again, so she won't be prosecuted.
" Extremely careless" my a$$!! The only possible logical conclusion any rational person can draw from Clinton and her staff's activities surrounding this email account fiasco was that she deliberately intended to hide nefarious activities. She and her staff had multiple counts of felonious violations of the Espionage Act. My aching eyeballs - Clinton had Huma burn her daily schedule every day. That is destroying government documents and the only possible reason to do that is once again to hide questionable contacts and activities.

When she set up an unsecured server in her barn adjacent to her home in Chappaqua, New York, she had intentionally – forget about negligence – she had intentionally bypassed the security process for that server.

USC 18, 793(f)... … through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust or to be lost, stolen, abstracted or destroyed....
...Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 10 years or both.

That's per count. Last I heard, there were 33 classified emails and counting.

Any other Sec State would be in prison by now. Scooter Libby got two years because he could not remember something from years before and told the FBI something else. Hillary said she could not remember 125 times in one hearing, has stolen and destroyed government property and records, and gets a pass.

BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT.

Supposedly Comey was untouchable, an honest man. I guess that means he'll now join the John Roberts Club or eat his gun.

If now official folks, we are now a Banna Republic and James Comey put the FBI's stamp of approval of it. At least they were all respectful enough to wait so we could enjoy one last Birthday. Pathectic

As to the original question, "Do the polls underestimate Trump's support?", isn't that a bit like asking "Is the pope Catholic?"

Oh, wait a minute. Make that "Is the pope Communist?"

I don't think I have ever wanted to be wrong as much as I do now, but I think there is a critical mass of welfare trash, celebrity worshipers, and social media types that will elect her.

Please, please, let me be wrong.

Well, at least it's good to know that Comey's family's no longer being held hostage.

@Stu Tarlow: I've given up on "is the Pope Catholic." No longer can be sure of that, as you indicate. For years I've been using "Is the archbishop of Canterbury Anglican.?
