So, will the enew federal police force be called the SA or the Gestapo?
ReplyDeletei THINK "irs"
ReplyDeleteI like Federalies. Bueno.
ReplyDeleteLet's face it: Municipal leaders in the best towns don't have the will to control their police departments, so they have become a new and independent branch of government.
ReplyDeleteWhen you add the typical Democrat level of corruption into a city government, police departments go rogue. Most of them already need to be under some form of federal control.

ReplyDeletePersonally, I'd like to see more PDs "go rogue" and form RWDS (Right Wing Death Squads).

PD's tend not to "go rogue", whatever that means. Police commissioners are appointed by city mayors. Since the mayors tend to be liberals, so do the commissioners. The commissioner serves at the pleasure of the mayor.
ReplyDeleteSheriffs are elected by their county. They tend to reflect the political makeup of the county. If a sheriff "goes rogue" in a sense his constituents don't like, he can be replaced in an election.
What, ya mean "Magnum Force" was FICTION?
