What
terrible spell is the West living under.? There is no blasphemy in a
free society. And yet one Muslim complains, and an entire career is
destroyed.
A spokesman for the board said it was aware of concerns raised by a
community member about public postings on a Facebook page under the
name Ghada Sadaka. Sadaka is identified as a principal in the York
board on the page.

Apparently an Ontario, Canada school principal [Ghada Sadaka.]
criticizing Muslims in
Europe for not standing up against the violence done in the name of
their religion, and expressing an opinion that burkas should be
permitted in France when bikinis are permitted in Saudi Arabia, is
enough to cause a public furor and calls for her termination.
Islam and Islamic government are a unique threat to free speech and
liberty. Freedom of speech is the foundation of a free society. Without
it, a tyrant can wreak havoc unopposed, while his opponents are
silenced.
Putting up with being offended is essential in a pluralistic society in
which people differ on basic truths. If a group will not bear being
offended without resorting to violence, that group will rule unopposed
while everyone else lives in fear, while other groups curtail their
activities to appease the violent group. This results in the violent
group being able to tyrannize the others.

Firstly, any school faculty caught posting on Facebook needs to be fired. Letting the monkeys run the zoo sets a bad example for the little dopes.
ReplyDeleteThe other thing is Canada — a monarchal province run by a Leftist ministry. There are no civil rights. It is not a "free society" in any way. Just stay drunk, shut up, and die.
Also, Ontario is the Maryland of Canada.
Kagan - pro sharia? No surprise from a Harvard academic who never worked in the real world..
ReplyDeleteThe Never Trump people will guarantee us four or five more Kagans for the next 25 years. Ain't that a happy thought?

The government cannot just legislate free speech out of existence. It has to be done a little at a time. Precedent has to be set and then it can be chipped away a little piece at a time. Eventually free speech will be eradicated. "The issue is not the issue, the issue is the revolution."
