DUH ... am I the only person who know this? I don’t think so
I read G. Gordon Liddy's autobiography and was floored by the discovery that the Plumbers were doing genuine counterintelligence work. Liddy inferred that his group was on a rat hunt. It is all in the name "Plumbers." What do plumbers do? They stop leaks. Hardly a day went by back then without the release of classified materials to the leftist media.
It makes far more sense that the Plumbers were trying to nail whoever it was that was leaking these materials. I never really bought the idea that the Plumbers were some kind of campaign dirty tricks operation. The Democrat party was the party of treason then as it is now!
History may not repeat itself, but it certainly rhymes.
