Understand the electoral college (and bitch slap your know-it-all college kid)
With all of the misinformation going around today, it's critical that people (especially young people who are no longer being taught this in school) know why the Founders chose for us to use Electoral College. And, because of that people who are pushing a form of tyranny are feeding off that ignorance.
I still do not understand! I used to think the electors were the actual elected senators and representatives, but that is not so. So who the H are the electors? The video shows that if you vote democrat, you vote for the democrat electors; republican, repub electors. Does this mean it is impossible to have an independent as a president? Who appoints these electors? This must be what they mean by a secret ballot!
Good talk. But I will have to listen to it a couple more times to get all the understanding that I want.
