Clinton's Fury

Where the bad guys panic
The letter, written by Bruce Lindsey, head of the Clinton Foundation, and Douglas Bond, a top lawyer in Clinton's office, accuses the ABC drama of "bias" and a "fictitious rewriting of history that will be misinterpreted by millions of Americans."

Clinton, whose aides first learned from a TV trailer about a week ago that the miniseries would slam his administration, was "surprised" and "incredulous" when told about the film's slant, sources said.

Albright and former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger also dashed off letters to Iger, accusing the network of lying in the miniseries and demanding changes.

Last night I listened to ''progressive" radio head Ed Schultz on XM radio use Richard Clark to impeach the film's truthfulness.  Clark disputes the accuracy of the scene where bin-Laden's capture is undone when Sandy Berger refuses to give approval.  For Schultz, Richard Clark's pronouncements carry weight because "He's always struck me as being a straight - shooter."

Yeah, well the left are always surprised and incredulous if the Drive-by Media, of which ABC News is a charter member, doesn't tow the official party line, so I, like you, am surprised and incredulous too, LOL.

I went over to Kos and DU last night to read some of the left's reaction to this upcoming film. Based on perceptions, as no one has seen the film, more than anything else, they are stunned that one of the main legs of the MSM has betrayed them. And betrayed them how? By all accounts, this is an evenly told story. I guess unless it's the likes of Fahrenheit 9/11, it just ain't fair.

And Ed Schultz Rog? That is going above and beyond. 10X more brain damage than The Today Show. I have to admit to tuning into him, Randi and Al on occasion, but I can never last more than 5 minutes. Their levels of BDS are truly life threatening.

I only stayed about 5 minutes myself, but I like to know what the loony left is thinking. Wait, I know what they're thinking, I just like to hear them say it.

if the media weren't so full of it, the Clintons would have had to move to France long ago...

their history of their negligence should be duly recorded, with a big tatoo on the face of Bill and Hillary...

I think that this publicity is just a smoke screen. I still think it will blame Bush for everything.

I would agree with you Jake, except Limbo saw the thing and reviewed it yesterday. His take is that the Bush Admin. does not get a pass, but a lot of their failure was due to being hamstrung by Jamie Gorelick's ''Wall.'' I don't know how subtle that point will be made. Carville, Clinton, Albright, Burger, Ben-Veniste, and that whole ratpack saw it, and are apoplectic. That's reason enough to be hopeful.
