I expect idiocy like this from the likes of John Dingell, Democrat chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, whose bill this is, but really! - how hard would it have been for Bush to justify his veto of this monstrosity? In fact, I'd have made a campaign commercial of it as reason to de-elect all democrats. Sheesh, stab me in the liver. |

Yup, wait until the ten dimmer switches in your home have to be replaced by a union electrician at a cost of $ 1,000. CF's don't work on dimmers. And get used to on and off as your only lighting choices.

ReplyDeleteAnd CF's contain Mercury. I believe that technically, they will require an EPA permit to clean up a broken one and dispose of it at the landfill....but nobody ever talks about that. Just wait till McWhinney is elected Pres. As the leader of the Green party...Green as in all the money these DFCS's want to bleed us out of.
