That's
me, the kid on the left. My older sister was learning to drive
and got such a spanking for this from that copper (that evening in the
cellar). Then they got engaged for awhile. No charges were filed. She broke all mom's canning jars
though, and she was charged for those, but never paid. Oh, she was a
brat, but always very nice to me. She married a farmer from
Indiana and the pigs ate her.

In reality I beleive the picture is of an early Packard that was being used by a "bootlegger" to transport booze.
