It
is simply a fact that Max Cleland was not injured by enemy fire in
Vietnam. He was not in combat, he was not — as Al Hunt claimed — on a
reconnaissance mission, and he was not in the battle of Khe Sanh, as
many others have implied. He picked up an American grenade on a routine
noncombat mission and the grenade exploded.
In Cleland's own words: "I didn't see any heroism in all that. It
wasn't an act of heroism. I didn't know the grenade was live. It was an
act of fate." That is why Cleland didn't win a Purple Heart, which is
given to those wounded in combat. Liberals are not angry because I
"lied"; they're angry because I told the truth. [ File

The underpinnings of
Liberalism, and hence today's Democrat Party, rest on a bed of
lies, misdirection, and class warfare. This Cleland line is just
a small example of how liberal "truths," once broadcast, are
never-ever removed from the public debate. Coulter was correct in
her reporting. We know that because rebuttals were limited
to the usual cat calls, and ad hominem slurs. Even the Wikipedia
account is manipulatingly deceptive.

Kerry's service was a liability. Christmas in Cambodia, the magic hat, three (questionable)quick purple hearts and I'm outta here. He asked for it when he wanted to base his qualification for the presidency on his military service. All 4 months of it.

Kerry was typical of the usual candidates on the left. All hat and no cattle, a total phony.

That limp-wristed "I'm John Kerry and I'm reporting for duty" salute at the Democratic National Convention was embarrassing. I don't know how he ever got out of Newport w/ a salute like that.

The fact that this reprehensible SOS is allowed to breath the same free air that I am so many Americans enjoy. Screw. May he rot in hell forced to listen to George Soros playing the bag pipes.
