There
is the possibility that the driver of this car was not a victim of
municipal greed, but rather a modern day equivalent of Morgan's
Rangers, those stalwart patriots who fought for our freedom, circa
1776. Kamikaze Battalion. A moment of silence for this
hero, then. Not that I support the movement to destroy every
snoop cam in the USA, that would be illegal.

ReplyDeleteBut how do you reach it? Certainly you don't advocate cutting the pole down, risking the chance of electrocution? I've found that the best technique is to stop directly under one, and put a shotgun slug through it from out the sun roof. Effective, yet minimizing the chance of a stray bullet hurting someone. We welcome all suggestions.
ReplyDeleteThat last comment wasn't from me. It was from anonymous.
ReplyDeleteI believe the Brits have adopted the old South African protest tradition of "necklacing." That is, putting a tire (or "tyre") full of gasoline (or "petrol") around the camera and setting it on fire (or "igniting it").
ReplyDeleteOf course the anti-apartheid South African used the technique on those they thought were collaborating. I can't condone that use. Not at all.
I think if the car had been made of tinfoil, it would have done more damage to the post.
ReplyDeleteAs for the camera's, here are some fine examples of civil disobedience against our civil masters.

Truely those are works of art, not that I condone the destruction of government property provided for our safety.
Oh, yes:The Old Madella Method...
ReplyDeleteA tire full of petrol.
maybe that car wreck was a kamikaze attack. Certain Brits know how to channel their civil disobedience in a useful way. (LMAO at the gatso pics) Maybe our hippie liberal demonstrators are onto something, in that it makes them feel good, but they are not channeling their energies correctly.

I like the Brit engineer who mixed up some homebrew thermite, and melted the bitch.
ReplyDeleteCasca
A second vote for thermite. Two applications per cam. Place thermite at the base of the pole to bring the whole fucking thing down. The second thermite charge should be thrown as you drive past the repair vehicle sent to put it up again.
ReplyDeleteDestroying traffic cameras does no good, because they are cheap and easily replaced. Make replacement expensive and difficult, and you'll be getting somewhere.
Of course, I don't advocate doing anything like this without first successfully lobbying your local and state legislators to make this sort of recreation legal.
Cheap? Maybe, but not as cheap as an old tire and a rag soaked with petrol.
