Obama's story does not pass muster

The IRS filings, covering 2006 and 2007,
bolster the Republican vice-presidential candidate’s frequent
assertions about her family’s membership in the middle class, albeit in
the upper end of the class.
In those two years, Sarah Palin, who was elected Alaska’s governor
in 2006, and her husband, Todd, supported four children on an average
annual income of $147,000 from an eclectic array of far
outside-the-beltway sources ranging from fish sales to government
entitlement checks.

EIGHT
YEARS ago Barack Obama was thoroughly humiliated at the Democratic
Convention in Los Angeles. He had recently lost a congressional primary
in Chicago, and both his political and personal bank accounts were
empty. The rental car company rejected his credit card. He failed to
get hold of a floor pass and ended up watching the proceedings on a big
screen in a car park. He returned home with his tail between his legs
before the week was out.

But wait, there's more. Obama's 2000 tax return
declares a combined income of $240,505. We've all felt the pain f
squeaking by on a quarter-mil a year, right? And not being able
to rent a car from Budget, right? But Obama is magical. Consider.
Seven years prior, with a subsistence income, the Obama's "bought a condominium in Hyde Park for $277,500, paying about $111,000 as a down payment, according to county real estate records."
Yup plunked down $111,000 cash in 1993, and couldn't rent a car in 2000.
Which one of these two would you buy a car from?

These democrats tell these lies and don't even care. Say it aint so Joe, told five or six at the debate and the next day its no big deal. Obama has told so many in this election and changed his life story so many times his new nick name ought to be Walter Mitty.what has became of us that a politician can get on tv in front of millions of people and tell out right lies and it does not matter. He still won the debate???? HE LIED HE LIED !!!! WTH... I am so mad at what this country has become when did this happen... with what is the meaning of is... "I did not have sex with that women" When did it become ok to lie to us and not even try to hide it and for us to look the other way like its no big deal.

I have never bought that story about the barefoot in the snow trudging forlornly away from the Democrappic convention. It rings as false as a lead bell.

Like Joe's friend at the gas station, who doesn't know how much it costs to fill his tank. Wait, that might be true. I'm sure he knows a lot of people who can't do basic math.

Considering what things cost up there, $147,000 in Alaska is probably equal to $100,000 or less in the Lower 48.
