Hatch doing praising Dodd as “one of the better Senators here.” Is he working undercover for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee? Because he has just supplied Dodd with a gem of a campaign ad. Yet another reason not to donate money to the NRSC. BCCI Cost the Country A Good Deal More Than We Thought Orrin Hatch, my erstwhile go-to guy for the right side of any issue.  All that ended in 1993.  As the ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Hatch rolled over for every Clinton nominee, beginning with Janet Reno's AG nomination.  WTF?  Prior to that Hatch had been seen in public, smooching with the Massachusetts slut Ted Kennedy,  so ... wow. Not much publicized was AG Reno's subsequent announcement that she would not investigate Senator Hatch for his alleged involvement in the BCCI scandal.  Another WTF, since I had no idea such allegations existed, but further investigation seemed to implicate Hatch.  From that point I mistrusted him; certain  of his struck bargain with the devil.    In 1997, this news item (RENO RUNS INTERFERENCE FOR ORRIN HATCH) confirmed my suspicions.
