Google Street Scenes
 Oy Vey
Curmudgeonly & Skeptical

Okay, these are amusing, unless maybe you're the amusement, but Google Street Scenes ought to leave me feeling highly unsettled.  The reason they don't is that I will, fortunately, be passing into the next plane of existence before the next obvious steps occur, and gummint usurps the technology. If I was younger, say 60 or so, I'd spend my days destroying traffic cams and any other techno threat to our freedoms.  Click here to see the back story on these and other great street scene moments.

The man with the rifle is exiting First Stop Guns in S. Dakota.

It is an outstanding gun store and I have bought several guns from it.

It will happily ship to an FFL dealer in your area.

I plan to make a visit there sometime, even though it is quite a long way from Tn.

If you are looking for stocking stuffers, go to Gunsamerica.com and do a search for "First Stop".

I have found First Stop and Collectors Firearms (in Houston - Collectorsfirearms.com, I believe) to have the best selection of truly beautiful weapons.

I go to a lot of gun shows and to gun stores in most cities I visit and see tables and display cases full of current production Glocks, Rugers, S & Ws, etc, all of which I like I might add, but it is nice to see old, classic weapons.

I spent 2 - 3 hours in Collectors Firearms in Houston (on a shooting trip sponsored by Kim du Toit, I might add), and that wasn't nearly enough time to take in its offerings.

Merry Christmas.

Collectors has a nice selection, but they are routinely $200 - 300 higher on firearms than anyone else in the area. However, if you are into antique firearms, they are hard to beat for selection. For those interested you can check them out at collectorsfirearms.com.
