National Guard scraps plans to invade rural town

“I'll just go in a little bit ... .
DES MOINES, Iowa – Following publicized reports that the Army National Guard was planning a military training exercise on the streets of a rural Iowa town, the commanding officers have called off the mock "invasion."

The Guard had planned a four-day urban military operation in tiny Arcadia, Iowa, population 443, sending troops to take over the town and search door-to-door for a suspected weapons dealer.

The exercise was designed as a mock scenario to give soldiers the skills needed for deployment in an urban environment, and military officials stressed that only households that consented to be part of the drill would be searched. [cont]
Thank God there were enough people to complain, I don't care if it was voluntary.  Allowing any gummint agency to practice home invasion  is akin to letting your kid point an unloaded gun at you.   Especially with the lawless gummint we have today.  Sheesh.  I would like to see them practice on congressional office buildings though.

Obama's Brown Shirts

If they act like Brown-Shirts, treat them like Brown-Shirts
There is little doubt that ACORN is feeling its oats now that one of their own is in the White House. The payback by Obama is just beginning and the only question in my mind is when we start calling these thugs "Obama's Brown Shirts?" - Rick Moran, American Thinker

ACORN Trains Citizens To Protest Home Foreclosures

Near Patterson Park, the padlock on the door and the sign in the window tell part of Donna Hanks foreclosure story.

"The mortgage went up $300 in one month," said Hanks, former homeowner.

She says the bank refused to modify her loan and foreclosed, kicking her out of the house in September.

The community group ACORN calls Hanks a victim of predatory lending. [Mandated by Democrats in Congress]

"This is our house now," said Louis Beverly, ACORN.

And on Thursday afternoon, they literally broke the foreclosure padlock right off the front door and then broke into the house, letting Hanks back in for the first time in months.

"We are actually trespassing, and so this is a way of civil disobedience to try to stay in the house," said Beverly. "Legally it's wrong, but homesteading is the only means that she has left to stay in her house. And we feel as though this is the right thing to do at this particular time to save this family."

How many ACORN activists were caught red-handed  generating fraudulent votes during the past election?  How many have been, or will be prosecuted?  That's right.  Let me axe you something.  How would the Hitler Channel today view those who laid clubs upside the heads of the brown shirted Sturm Abteilung (S.A.)?  As German patriots, is how. Too bad it's against the law.  But, history's lesson is that when a people feel the law will no longer protect them, they turn to DIY vigilantism. I'm just saying, we're headed for no good
