The federal quo warranto statute
Attention “illegitimizers”

Leo Donofrio Quo Warranto Legal Brief, Part 1 & 2
Posted on March 6th, 2009 by David-Crockett

This evening, Leo Donofrio, Plaintiff in Donofrio v. Wells, reports that he has released the first part of his legal briefing stating his opinion of challenging the President’s authority via a prerogative writ known as quo warranto.

At this time, Mr. Donofrio will be working solo on this issue.

For the “illegitimizers” (my term for those who don’t believe there’s a need to enforce the Constitution’s eligibility requirements) out there, Mr. Donofrio points out a very interesting aspect of law:

Many have argued that only Congress can remove a sitting President and that the separation of powers enumerated in the Constitution denies the courts any legal ability to remove a sitting President.  But with the federal quo warranto statute, Congress has delegated that authority to the District Court of the District of Columbia by providing for the removal of the President (and other public officers) by quo warranto where the President is found to be a usurper to the office  even if he assumed the office with a good faith belief he was eligible.

Curb Your Enthusiasm

Curbed
Larry David

Since I've had the free HBO package trial, my morning ritual includes watching the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode recorded the night before.  These can get so intensely annoying that sometimes I have to walk away for a few hours.  But this is good for me, because no matter what schmucks I run into that day,  they will pale in comparison to what I've just witnessed.

The show's creator, writer, and star is  Larry David, who wrote and developed Seinfeld  (George Costanza is his alter-ego), is a comic genius, and in a class with Neil Simon as a writer.  Ann Coulter thinks that Larry  has to be a closet conservative, given the backhanded skewering liberals get on the show. Maybe that's why he divorced  ex-wife Laurie David, a first class commie bitch.

Anyway, this morning's fare, "Beloved Aunt," is a prime example.  Here's a short clip. (NSFW)
When Cheryl's aunt dies, Larry is left in charge of the obituary. But when the newspaper makes an unfortunate typographical error, things take an expected turn for the worse.

Et Tu Spanky?

Look behind you Barry,
Senate Dems are going Brutus on you

Buckwheat's Failed Presidency

From the DC Examiner ...
Moderate and conservative Democrats in the Senate are starting to choke over the massive spending and tax increases in President Barack Obama’s budget plans and have begun plotting to increase their influence over the agenda of a president who is turning out to be much more liberal than they are.

A group of 14 Senate Democrats* and one independent huddled behind closed doors on Tuesday, discussing how centrists in that chamber can assert more leverage on the major policy debates that will dominate this Congress.

Afterward, some in attendance made plain that they are getting jitters over the cost and expansive reach of Obama’s $3.6 trillion budget proposal.
Conspicuous by his absence from this list, is lying coward Sen. Jim Webb, (Flip-Flop, VA)  Sorry for getting carried away.  I despise Webb for trading his long held values for a senate seat, and wish him nothing but ill fortune.
*Evan Byah (Indiana), Mary Landrieu (Louisiana), Mark Warner (Virginia), Bill Nelson (Florida), Amy Klobuchar (Minnesota), Mark Pryor (Arkansas), Jeanne Shaheen (New Hampshire), Robert P. Casey Jr. (Pennsylvania), and Blanche L. Lincoln (Arkansas), Claire McCaskill (Missouri), Mark Begich (Alaska), as well as Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.). Senator Jon Tester (Montana) is not officially in the group, but the article details his discomfort with this spending free-for-all.

Losing Limbaugh

Stephanie Miller
Execute Rush Limbaugh
Radio talker Stephanie Miller, outraged that Rush Limbaugh wants Barack Obama's policies to fail, has called for the nation's top talk host to be charged with treason and executed.

She made the call, not on her rather obscure radio program but on CNN's "Larry King Live" show Tuesday.

King seemed unfazed by the suggestion, neither following it up with a challenge or a question.

"To me that seems treasonous," Miller said. "If I could say something tonight that gets me that kind of attention, like maybe Rush Limbaugh should be executed for treason. How about that?" [WND]
If I may, Larry  ...

Stephanie, you ignorant slut! Bagged-out, dried-up, slunken meat like you should be fork shredded and recycled back through the sow's digestive system from whence you came.

Way to ratchet things up Stephanie. You have to exercise temperance when calling for the death of a public figure, though. Like this.

If it's proved that Barry Hussein Obama is ineligible to hold his office, he must be removed. If subsequent findings reveal he was part of a wider conspiracy to seize control of the United States government, and his trial for High Treason results in a jury verdict of "guilty," only then should Mr. Obama be executed.
Let's play conspiracy theory, something that Limbaugh routinely dismisses, and condemns by the way. If you're in the process of undermining the constitutional basis for the United States gummint, to replace it with an Obamacy, of immediate concern is armed rebellion by reactionaries. Counter-revolution needs a voice.  Who has the respect, and access to Americans willing to, once again, fight for their country?  The best candidate is who? El Rushbo, right? The Left would certainly have prioritized silencing him in their working blueprints. Fairness Doctrine, first. If that doesn't work, shudder.
