CNN Poll:
Majority says government
a threat to citizens' rights

Boned Jello
ideological kamikaze

The survey indicates a partisan divide on the question: only 37 percent of Democrats, 63 percent of Independents and nearly 7 in 10 Republicans say the federal government poses a threat to the rights of Americans.
This warms the cockles of my heart, it does.  First,  CNN's finely tuned polling database yielding that result extrapolates to something like 60% from reliable sources.  Second, the  "only 37 percent of Democrats" number, added to those of regular Americans, is formidable.

Now, the mystery.  More than anything else, it's the specter of gummint grabbing control of  health care that's responsible for those numbers.
Why then have Obamunists adopted a timetable calling for ramming it down our throats within the next six weeks?   That's mid May, a scant 6 months from the mid-term elections?  An act of truly deranged, desperately deranged, people.   Again, ideological kamikaze seems the only answer that suffices.  Blam-blam-blam

I've never trusted my government. I've watched the march of the Socialist-Democrat Party since 1964. They's never waivered, they've never retreated.

I'm constantly amazed that the LibCong smear Conservatives as Fascists when its the DemCong who seek a vast expansion of government power.

Hey Maj. Mike,
It's easy to understand if you are aware that the Liberal Brain - both synapses - is incapable of abstract thought. Thus, they cannot "put themselves in someone else's shoes." The only thing that they can do is project onto others that which is in themselves which they mistakenly believe is the same thing. One of the best examples I can think of is them calling people who listen to Rush Limbaugh "mind-numbed robots." As I said, projecting. Hell, they cannot utter a complete sentence containing original thought. All they can do is drone on and on with the DNC talking points du jour. -- Skyhawker, Doug
