Jim Geraghty reports that Bob Etheridge, who manhandled a kid for asking "do you support the Obama agenda,"  has fallen behind his Republican opponent in the polls.  There's some disagreement over E's chances of winning an eighth term -- in a district where " Obama’s approval is at 38 percent and disapproval is at 55 percent."  The best part though, was the letter from a lawyer who lives in the district, who weighed in with the "he needed killin'" letter. I think Sheriff Taylor would approve.  Well, Deputy Fife fer sure.  Long as they needed it.

    Bob Etheridge's district includes Raleigh, home of the state capitol and a whole hoard of government employees (mostly union) who are going to vote for a yellow dog as long as he has a "D" after his name.

    Plus, if you look at his district, it has been gerrymandered to include most of the bla-fo in the neighborhood who have the same yellow-dog mentality.

    This is not so very different from my district which is represented by the pimp, Melvin Watt.

    So I guess it wouldn't surprise me very much if the retards in his district reelected Etheridge, despite his being caught on video, completely drunk and committing assault on a random passerby.

    If North Carolina still gave a shit, Bob Etheridge would have been impeached already.

    I hope we might.

    And if he had done that in his own district, and the victim had shot his sorry ass, he would have been acquitted using that same logic.

    Does it also include Duram? The mostly-black town "next door" that is full of drugs and gang problems? (And also where those Duke students were falsely accused of raping that stripper...)

    I'm sure that town is a reliable reserve of Democrat votes.
