HACHI - Great Dog Flick
Spot the Psychopath
Both men underwent the Schlong Institute test for early discovery of predisposition for serial

They filmed the outside shots in Woonsocket RI and around the area. It was a big deal around here. Probably won't watch it as it went directly to video and this tells me a lot...maybe not. Ok, I will when it becomes available on demand. I love that feature! I watch when I want to - not when they decide I have to.
I have this waiting now for me to watch based on when it was mentioned here a few days ago. I'm a bit afraid of it now, a whole swarm of gnats attacked me while watching the trailer.
Another good 'direct to video' movie with Rodger's Psychopath Seeking Seal of Approval is Taking Chance. One Rodger probably doesn't know about yet is Grave of the Fireflies about Japanese WWII orphans. You're just not human if you can get through it without crying (Roger Ebert said he was almost brought to tears so he is almost human). GrinfilledCelt

I watched this recently.Very good movie, based on a true story.

Hachi is on its way to me via Netflix. Akitas are very cool dogs, but I would strongly prefer not to have one get angry with me.

ReplyDeleteIn this instance Bolivar, that prolly had more to do with its "G" rating than anything to do with quality.
I may have been too cute by half here, but this was a beautiful movie, and taps into all the right parts of us as humans. IMO.
And gentleman, you will have to fight like hell against them gnats that make your eyes water.
