If I were a woman I would have this guys kids....well maybe not but, you get the sentiment right??? Christie is spouting conservative porn and it is lovely!!! I love this man and if he would move to Rhode Island he actually would be able to fix the place - well, maybe we are too far gone.

Will they be granting bass and alto as well, or just "tenor"? I think the reforms come too late for channel 2. (Ref - approx 1:05 into video)

"... without input from educators."
What the union of educators misses is we deal with their input all the time. We know the graduates of their wastful social experiment. High school complete; 3 times 7? uh, I don't know.
Lend us a "tenor". Throw out the "tenure".

With all due respect, Christie is not making common sense sound revolutionary, is is the hyperventilating press who makes 'pay for performance' and testing teachers for basic skills sound unreasonable and draconian.

Seems like W had it right: while nudging the public school system, stand up a charter school option that can grow to make them irrelevant.

Why do parents put up with this? Or do all the smart ones just shell out $10K for private school or home school?

To paraphrase Frank J, it's like Tony Soprano swallowed Rush Limbaugh

I love the guy-sooner or later he'll drop the V word and we're gonna see a 1,000 NEA heads explode
