The cop probably gets to see, more often than the rest of us, what a deer can do to a car and its passengers.

I forget the link, but I just read a story about some folks who went to great lengths to save a coyote.

If I was a LEO who witnessed it, I wouldn't have written a ticket, but I'd have immediately shot the coyote and responded to their astonished looks by saying, "Dumbasses".

they were in their twenties but got as ticket for no PFD which are required for minors? How much was that cop drinking? "“I fucking hate deer,” said the officer."
What a dumb ass.
Billl I've seen it as a firefighter EMT and cop. It doesn't make me hate deer. I hate stupid drivers, and hate the results of auto wrecks, but you can't let that affect your actions as a sworn officer. Other wise the sworn officer would be in the wrong and not serving society, but rather serving himself.

ummn almost, rodge's story (linked above) which then links to this, which then links to the source.

Unfortunately, in the source it does not say that the cop said anything like that or that he said anything at all. It does say that the law only applies to sub 16 year olds.

In Florida, a marine shot and killed an alligator that was attacking her dog. They gave her a ticket for hunting without a license.

there's nothing wrong with maryland that moving the nation's capitol to Omaha wouldn't cure.

I fucking hate cops - there are few situations that the presence of cops don't make worse.

that's because they spend so much time enforcing stupid laws passed by stupid legislators. This particular asshat however is just that - a dinky dicked asshat.

There is a new show on the National Geographic channel, Wild Justice, where we follow the exploits of the department of Fish & Game. They spend a lot of time busting kids and hillbillies for smoking dope, and Mesicans for growing it. I don't know about you, but I feel safer.

99% of cops give the other 1% a bad name.
