This is the scariest tsunami video yet

“ We've seen a lot of scary videos of this month's deadly Japanese earthquake and tsunami — but nothing like this. Watch as the waves ravage the port of Kesennuma, destroying everything in it's path.

First watch as the tsunami begins by tossing cars around like toys at the port parking lot — and then watch how terrifyingly fast the rest of the city becomes enveloped in water. In the end, only a couple of buildings survive.

Wow. About half way through it got nasty, wish he showed more of the inland. I saw aerial footage as the wave moved inland and was taken back by the destruction as it happened. It just pushed EVERYTHING in its way. There one minute and gone the next.

I wanted to slap one of the "talking heads" last week . He was in a tizzy because nobody had turned on the emergency generators at the nuke plant ! I kept thinking A) There is no one alive to turn the generators on , and B) There are no generators to turn on . This video sums it up pretty well . May The Good Lord be with them . (still no looting , that I'm aware of) SMIBSID

This just blew us both away! God sure has the power over on us doesn't he? We cannot imagine or comprehend the immense power of nature. Our puny buildings and structures just fall apart and our vehicles become like toys in a bathtub in this - natures backflush. I also wished for wings - the guy filming this was likely filling their drawers. I know I would have been.

Incredible video. Would be a nail-biter standing up on that building and feeling all the vibrations of the water and stuff slamming into it.

I've sat through a bunch of 125mph+ hurricanes and wouldn't want to trade him; the sheer power of moving water is unbelievable.

When I see all these various videos, I am amazed that there were not many more deaths. Japan's warning sirens definitely saved tens of thousands of lives.

The reactoors tripped automatically due earth quake. 1 hr later the water from the tsunami returning to the sea hits back of plant away from sea where switchyards and the emergency diesels, which are in service are located. This shorts them out stopping all emergency cooling water flow. Stoping Spent fuel pool cooling. Batteries for soon run out as sea water shorts equipment that they supply draining them quickly. This results in loss of all lights and instrumentation. CAN you say Royally screwed. That so far few injuries due to struggle to cool plants. The Nipponese nuke workers are heroes.
