Baconage

Not Kevin Bacon - Rodger's Bacon

15 pounds of Applewood Bacon

There are birthday presents, and there are birthday presents.  While all are deeply appreciated, there is a certain cachet attached to 15 pounds of Apple wood cured bacon.  Which is what son Hucker gave me yesterday. Call Guinness; I think a bacon Eiffel Tower is in the offing.

Where does one obtain this product?

BTW, got my power vacuum for a song, and am content with it... not convinced I needed it though.

I would think that the exalted leader of the worlds finest barn army would want to share the source of such high quality protien.

Uh, no. That's why you can't just Google stuff.

It started here. Then it became a running gag, although MusclesGlasses' shirt has it as

BaconStrips&
BaconStrips&
BaconStrips&
BaconStrips&
BaconStrips&

but whatever. And bacon strips.

Bacon should never be cooked in a microwave, unless it is some kind of bacon emergency and you haven't had bacon in four hours.
Microwaving bacon ruins it.
