Ohio Catholic University Fights ObamaCare
may well be the key to the dismantling of President Obama’s re-election hopes

Res Ipsa Loquitur

The metro Cleveland area as well as the state of Ohio will be the linchpin in the 2012 presidential election and ObamaCare may well be the key to the dismantling of President Obama’s re-election hopes. This week, Catholic University in the city of Steubenville helped to put one more nail in the Obama election machine when it rejected implementation of ObamaCare.  Michael Hernon, who is VP of Advancement at the University, suggested that President Obama’s health care program amounted to a “moral and economic injustice, when he appeared on Fox News' Fox and Friends show this week.

There is a moral and a principled battle of legendary proportions occurring in Ohio and in many other states as well. Here is the dilemma: whether or not moral principles can be trampled under the uncaring heels of the federal government mandates from the Obama administration that require any school to use their health care plan to provide sterilization, contraceptives or other pregnancy prevention drugs to students.

Climate Liars - Who's funding what?

The “well funded” climate business – follow the money

Res Ipsa Loquitur

Flashback, Michael Mann said this on October 5th, 2010:

Our efforts to communicate the science are opposed by a well-funded, highly organized disinformation effort that aims to confuse the public about the nature of our scientific understanding.

Scientists are massively out-funded and outmanned in this battle, and will lose if leading scientific institutions and organizations remain on the sidelines. I will discuss this dilemma, drawing upon my own experiences in the public arena of climate change.

Next time you get challenged on how much money is involved and whose side gets it, point out Mann is delusional by showing them this from 2009, Climate Money, a study by Joanne Nova revealing that the federal Government has a near-monopoly on climate science funding.

Sabine Schmitz

Ein petal on der metal

If I was in high school today, and day dreaming about a fantasy girl during chemistry, it would be Sabine Schmitz.

In December 2004, Schmitz gained recognition in the United Kingdom after appearing in the BBC television show Top Gear with presenter Jeremy Clarkson. After Clarkson (under her tutelage) set a lap time of 9 minutes 59 seconds around the Nürburgring in a Jaguar S-Type diesel (Season 5, Episode 5), she castigated his best lap with the comment "I tell you something, I do that lap time in a van". She did a lap in the Jaguar S-Type, and set a time of 9 minutes 12 seconds, beating him by 47 seconds.

Elizabeth Keadle and Algore

Her name is Elizabeth Keadle — better known as Liz — a well-heeled Democratic donor from Southern California in her 50s with a background in science and a devotion to environmental causes.

The relationship is solid enough that she accompanied Gore, 64, ... on a trip to Antarctica in January to raise awareness of climate change.

Al Gore's new girl friend.  My interpretation of having dinner with Al Creosote.  We know that anyone who finds him romantically attractive must,  has to be, oblivious to his general reputation of being borderline insane.  She lives the cloistered from all reality Hollywood lifestyle, obviously, so that checks out. I'll charitably stipulate that "Democratic donor from California" means money; not brain.   Being on the same page with Gore on, well anything really, but on  man-caused climate change?—  she's stupid.   "Background in science.?"  Who knows.  Having read Al's  Earth in the Lurch would qualify with that lot.  Tipper was prettier, and in the end, much smarter. Obviously.
