Is
is possible that several hundred thousand Marylanders from Montgomery
and P.G. Counties have fled to Virginia? How else could a shifty
ex-Clinton enabler like McAufful even be in this race (he's+5)? I
mean,
wtf?
Virginia, under the stewardship of Governor Bob McDonnell
and Attorney General Cuccinelli built a thriving
economy second to none. And they successfully
challenged Obama initiatives like Obama care. The Tale
of Two States says it all.
McAufful is a savvy politician and skilled
con-man, so what does he know that would prompt him to see enactment of
a Colorado
style gun law in Virginia as a plus? Mayor
Bloomberg certainly thinks he has leverage on McAuffle, and maybe
he does? Or, does McAufful have the election results
in
hand? I'm just asking.
Here's the Richmond Time's endorsement "McAufful
is the Better Choice"
"The good news is that both candidates
for governor have offered plans for public schools. I've studied both
plans closely, and I've concluded that Terry McAufful has the better
plan to raise student achievement."
That's it? A
better plan to raise student achievement gobbledygook? I fear
Virginia is about to be Obama'd. And I will have lost my
escape hatch.

My daughter and son-in-law in Maryland had hoped my wife and I would relocate VA to be closer to the grand kids(knowing I could not take my guns, mags and ammo into MD). Surely the good folks of VA will not elect this guy and take away the option.
ReplyDeleteMcAuful is a outright punk and a shyster. I'll never figure out how he has managed to escape a indictment so far.
ReplyDeleteDo not be surprised if this punk gets elected. Despite the Virginia economy booming, McDonnell has cast a shadow over the Cucc. And besides the State did vote for obozo, not once but twice.
Heartbreaking!
Geo
Obama took VA twice, by virtue of coming out of Northern Virginia with a lead of 234,000 votes, after sweeping all nine localities, including the large outside-the-beltway counties of Prince William and Loudoun. Northern Va is Md's Montgomery and P.G. Counties, and border each other. Filled with Gov't leeches and the beltway bandit set.
ReplyDeleteWatching the Beltway voting precincts staying open extra late in the last election, I believe Marylanders from PG and Montgomery crossed the Potomac and voted for a second time in Northern Virginia.
ReplyDeleteUbama and our new Sneator Kommie Kaine stole the Virginia election.
What scares me worse is that some libertarian asshole is exercising his ego and will run in the Cuccinelli/McAuliffe race, and he can only poach votes from Cuccinelli. I have nothing against Libertarians, but dammit, they've got to stop tilting at windmills and giving a gift to the Uhbamunists in general elections.
While screwing the rest of us bitter clingers, this Libertarian is puffing his ego and cutting off his nose to spite his face, because Cuccinelli is a true Constitutional conservative who believes in the rule of law, not the tyranny of the HMFIC. Whatever the law is, he will enforce it, for all equally, not selectively.
I'm hoping in an off year election, we can generate good Republican turnout and stomp McAulliffe for good.
Lt. Col. Gen. Tailgunner dick
With the possible exception of dope, I'll warrant that Cooch is a better Libertarian than the "Libertarian."
ReplyDeleteRoger that, Rodger!

McA is going to win Virginia the same way that Obama won it - the voting machines here are literally bought and paid for by the Democrats - i.e. - under the Governorship of Tim Kaine. The Democrats could run a steaming pile of monkey feces against a Republican resurrected Mother Teresa and still win.
ReplyDeleteStick a fork in it - Virginia is done. I'd say if you can, move to Texas. The Hill country is nice, just stay away from Austin..
There was NO way I was going to vote for the Clintonista. Cooch slam-dunked my vote when he said that he wants NO corporate taxes in VA during the debate. Thought McAwful's head was going to explode.
ReplyDeleteLotsa room down here in N.Texas, Rodge.

Problem with TX is that the main source of government funding is property tax. I have no income but SocSec when old enough, so sizeable property tax bills make TX unaffordable.
ReplyDeleteIt seems property tax is an annual, continual and perpetual tax on what you have done, accomplished, earned, and worked for over and over and over. Here in GA, at age 62 you ca file for school tax exemption. I did, and taxes are about 25% of the previous bill.
The Boss wants to move to CA where the grandbaby is, but I've tried to put my foot down about that as property prices are still 3 or 4 times my evaluation of their worth, and property taxes there are even worse.
Terry belongs in jail for the insider trading he did with Global Crossing, selling his shares at the peak, just before they became bird cage lining. Just that the Clintons were in power, and protected him. He's a crook.
