"... policies have made it difficult, if not a punishable offense, for military chaplains to read passages of Leviticus, pray aloud in the name of God at a soldier’s funeral, or preside over traditional services."
Get in Line

Are you struck by the irony, if somewhat grotesque,  here?  If you're younger than 50, it's not so likely as the other way.  When "Godless Communism" referred to the Soviet Block, and we were all "Praise the Lord, and Pass the Ammunition." Things have seriously flip-flopped in just, well, since 1992,  really.

Science historian James Burke's series, Connections,  used to be a staple on early Hitler cable channels,  and I loved it.  So much so that I finally went searching for it on NetFlix; not carried. But, Lo! The series has it's own .  For them what like that kind of stuff.
