Sad...That was a well-done and factual presentation. Sadly, a solution to the problem of MSM bias has yet to be found. I am very discriminating these days in which sites I visit and what information I trust to be true; I consume very little of mass media and do not watch TV (cut the TV part of my cable some 10 years ago.)

There is of course also bias on the Net; I trust some sites far more than others. I have little trust in Legal Insurrection, linked above in the "Pleading Guilty" article, because for a very long time they were as anti-Trump as they could be. Truth, facts, objectivity all went out the window. Many of their commenters left for good, including me. Once I was a regular commenter there, now I no longer even have the site bookmarked. I was glad to see that the piece linked was about left-wing bias, seemed objective and well-written, but the trust I once had in the objectivity of that site is not restored and probably never will be.

@Geo- I never read whatever Judith Miller said in the NYT about WMD in Iraq; but I do remember much speculation on the Net, in the right-blogosphere, that road trains of materials were trucked into Syria before the Iraq War, and that much of this material was, or could have been, the 'missing' WMD. What a pity we no longer have objective reporters who would pursue the facts wherever they led, so the truth or falsity of this could be determined!Eskymanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15947922645001422523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15290406.post-35466397583995648362016-10-06T20:11:07.654-04:002016-10-06T20:11:07.654-04:00Rodger, perhaps I should've been more specific...
Rodger, perhaps I should've been more specific.....
I don't trust anything that rolls off of Miller's lips. The subject though was a given. I don't need to hear it from her and I would expect better from Prager U than Miller.

Hope that clarifies.

GeoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15290406.post-62573711927152326342016-10-06T17:08:25.953-04:002016-10-06T17:08:25.953-04:00Can You Trust the Press
LOLOL "fallen" ...Can You Trust the Press

LOLOL "fallen" LOLOL

Several years ago — as an impressionable child — my mother warned me not to believe everything I read in the newspaper. From time to time, I find it useful to ask others if they have benefited from similar parental advice.

Anyway, no. I have never perceived any decline in my trust of the news media.

Hellen du Paniernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15290406.post-91243730935924439622016-10-06T11:15:06.871-04:002016-10-06T11:15:06.871-04:00Thanks Geo, but I don't see how that has a thi...Thanks Geo, but I don't see how that has a thing to do with this. She wrote 2 or 3 books about the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and had her mug all over the tube claiming the huge arsenals Hussein was sitting on. Then she became the damsel in distress after serving a stint in jail for not giving up her sources.

She has never taken responsibility or recanted anytbing. I do enjoy Prager though.

GeoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
