The Bush administration has agreed to provide House Speaker Hankey with regular access to an Air Force passenger jet
It was good enough for Gorbashev ., but the two
sides are negotiating whether she will get the big aircraft she wants
and who she may take as passengers, according to congressional and
administration sources.
A congressional source said that Rep. John P. Murtha, chairman
of House Appropriations subcommittee on defense, which controls the
Pentagon's spending, has telephoned administration officials to urge
them to give the speaker what she wants.
The congressional source said Pentagon officials complained
that Mr. Murtha, Pennsylvania Democrat, is accusing them of sexism for
not immediately heeding her request. "Pelosi's push for jet remains up in air"

Hankey acts like a sewer cleaner who just won the
lottery. Hmmm. There's nothing I can add

ReplyDeleteRoger if that Speaker Hankey ever gets out to the public at large I mean like through the TV or something you will be famous. I believe it would be an overnight sensation. It would also destroy her politically ala The loser and the tank pic.But I still cannot understand why the picture of Kerry in the silly suit at NASA did not damage him more than it did? That had to be the most ridiclous pic of a canidate I have ever seen.
