Skinny House
Today's Brazillian
Rodge, look at the picture of the kitchen at this link and tell me those aren't
12" tiles on the floor. There ain't no way that that room is 1 meter
wide:
First off, we don't speak no Eurotrash lingo here, so the real question is "Can this room be just 3 feet, 3 inches wide?" No, it can't. In fact, it appears that the width is increasing at a 20% rate in this area. It may be 3 ft in some areas, but not here.
Actually, the building is wedge-shaped; according to a commenter at the end of the article is is 2 meters wide at the back. The photos in the article only show one side at a time, providing the illusion of a rectangular structure.
It's still an impressively creative use of space though.
If you read the linked page you will find a comment by someone who knows the house, that the house is 1 meter wide in the front but 2 meters wide in the back.
If that kitchen is a meter in width, that woman would be around a foot and a half tall, wouldn't she?
ReplyDeleteNah! That's bullshit. A meter is around 38 inches. That people and the furniture would have to be midget.
ReplyDelete"I ain't no ways tarred..."
ReplyDelete"I done come too fur..."
I was going to try to work a Shrillary-ism in there, but my literary skills let me bereft of any good ideas.
skh
Here's your Shrillary-ism ...
ReplyDelete"I cannot believe that, in this day and age, there are people forced to live in a space 6 by 100 feet ... .
