Ten
conservative talk radio hosts met last week with President Bush, a man
they have frequently admired yet also recently criticized.
| “ | "The
power of this man is incredible, the clarity shocking," he said. "The
frankness that he spoke to us with was refreshing. The true love that
he has for every member of the military is overwhelming. They're like
family to him. It is overwhelming what he does that you will never know
about.
"He's not the guy you see on TV. ... He's amazing," said Beck. "The
only time I'd seen him like that was when he was with the bullhorn on
the fire truck [on 9/11]." [Conservative Talk Radio Hosts See New Side of Bush]

He thought, but did not say, that his biggest mistake was believing
Democrats had loyalty to anything greater than holding the reins of
power. "I had the opportunity to arrest many of them for treason, and didn't."

His love for the military notwithstanding, I seem to recall sending boys into hell holes on foot for years that an F-111 could do in 60 seconds. I remember something about friends and relatives sending soldiers necessities like toothpaste and armor for their crappy little Hummers. What ever happened to those Marines held up on murder charges on the basis of information gathered by a Left Wing Fuckwit "journalist" from the wives and grandfathers of dead terrorists? Why isn't John Murtha's carcass hanging from a lamp post? I could go on and on about George's love of our boys in uniform.
ReplyDeleteWasn't Rush invited to this little love fest?
Rush and Hannity had a private session with the President on the same day.
