Mitt Romney probably lost my
support for president when he moved to Massachusetts, because
I've decided that nobody from that state should ever be given dominion
over anybody's life. When, as governor, he shepherded a Kennedy-esque gummint health program into law, the spike was driven. Today's Berkshire (MA) Eagle has something to say about that.

plan that provides health insurance for all without government
involvement, which is patently false. Unfortunately a national press
corps more concerned with sizzle than steak, and the Hollywood handsome
Mr. Romney is all about sizzle, has not challenged his claims
sufficiently, and based on its performance in the last two presidential
elections, may never do so.
The reform plan, of course, is heavily subsidized with state and
federal funds, and wouldn't exist without them. The low cost figures he
trumpets are only for the plans on the lowest rung of the ladder, and
he doesn't mention that the program begins to spring leaks when the
many who don't qualify for those plans seek insurance and find
themselves faced with plans
that cover little and cost plenty.

Bingo Rog. This is THE problem I have with Mitt. I just read a piece from the dems in MA about this plan and boy are they telling a different story. Now I know, I know MA dems, but none the less, Mitt's plan is compulsory.

For me, it's down to Rudy or Fred and I gotta tell ya(hi Jack), Fred looks, I don't know how else to say this, but Fred is looking kinda sickly and that last speech he gave, the venue where Obama also spoke. He looked bad. He is going to need his A game in just about a week or so when he declares.

Having lived in MA under Mitt's "leadership" I can categorically say no one should vote for that RINO.
ReplyDeleteHe did very little during his 4 years except feud. What little he did do come right out of the Dem playbook. His universal health care plan is something any Democrat can be proud of. He signed an AWB extension for MA. He raised fees (a tax by any other name) across the board.
For the primary, anybody but Mitt, I'm with Fred.
It's pretty clear, he's the anti-christ. Has anyone him barefoot?
