Actually, back in the old olden days, there was a motorcycle with a rotary (not radial) engine mounted to the front wheel. I wish I knew more about it. -DougM

I saw one once (photos) with the engine 90 degress different than this one. All I could think of was fighting the torque in a curve.

Suzuki had a (Wankel) rotary engine bike in the early 70's. Nothing like these, though.

ReplyDeleteThe R2800 is bigger than most hybrid subcompacts. That is not an R2800, which had 16 cylinders.
